Auckland Pilates instructor Laura Mohi Ryan is preparing her body and mind to be the best māmā to her baby girl.
When it comes to passions in life, Laura has found hers. The 36‑year‑old Aucklander launched her dream business Wild Pilates — an online Pilates app with classes filmed in beautiful locations around the world — with husband Liam in 2020. Now, having just delivered her baby girl, Billie, Laura has turned her passion for Pilates into a way to support pregnant and postpartum women through her own 40‑week Wild Prenatal programme.
Fertility Journey
Laura prepared both mentally and physically for about six months before trying to conceive. “I knew we wanted to start trying as soon as we were married in May 2025 and had already held off having kids a little longer than planned,” she says. “I wanted to give ourselves the best chance at getting pregnant as quickly as possible.”
