Revealing to your family and friends that you’re pregnant can be fun and exciting. If you’re struggling for some ‘big reveal’ ideas, take a look at these.
Letter balloons
Get some balloons that spell ‘baby’ and take some snaps. A beautiful memento for you, but also something to show your family to tell them you’re pregnant.

Sibling reveal
Let the newly minted ‘older’ sibling make the announcement. Grab a chalkboard and write something like ‘Only child expiring’ along with when you are due. You’ll end up with an adorable and memorable announcement.

Christmas baubles
If you find out you’re pregnant around Christmas time, finding some baubles with grandma and grandpa written on them is a cute and festive way to make the announcement.

Babygrows and ultrasound pictures
Many people use babygrows to announce their pregnancies. But make it personal by having one made with your names and ‘baby coming soon’, or a phrase that means something special to you and your partner. Accessorise with your baby’s ultrasound scans for added impact.

Peas in a pod
This has to be one of the cutest ways to reveal your pregnancy. By not explicitly stating you’re pregnant, your friends and family might take a little while to work it out, but it will definitely be worth it.

Involve the dog
If your fur babies are your first children, why not involve them in an announcement.

Movie poster
If you and your partner are film fanatics or skilled with photoshop, why not try making the announcement a movie poster? Hopefully your friends and family won’t think it’s a joke.
